Very disappointed.......
Saw local job with Royal Mail and as I had fancied working for them for ages I applied.
Received an e-mail telling me to expect an e-mail with a link to an online assessment. This e-mail was not picked up by my junk filter
Unfortunately the e-mail with the link was picked up by my junk filter and the first that I realised was when I received another e-mail informing me that because I hadn't completed the online test within 24 hours of receipt of the e-mail my application was not successful. All the e-mails were from the same address (recruitment@royalmail.com) but my junk filter - I use Apple Mail on an iMac - handled the first differently from the second two.
So beware, keep an eye on your junk filters if you apply for a job with Royal Mail.
In the meanwhile, here I am at home with no job and both Royal Mail and myself have have missed out.....
