What a 'sad' 'p***k'
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Yes, I wonder at the mentality of someone posting an easily identifiable photograph on the internet. Imagine if the postie did something similar?

Recording someones personal data requires a registration with the DPA so anyone recording images can be prosecuted. Although some posties really don't help themselves (I should know because I got into an argument with 2 men once over their dog)

not like a scab or non-member to be arrogant/ stroppy and think he's fireproof , he's going to have to hope he's got friends or "respect" from Management , couldn't happen to a nicer person , what comes around , goes around eh ? :funneh :funneh :funneh

not the sharpest tool in the box or as clever as he thinks

Although I agree with you about posting the pictures, you can hardly blame him for being upset. :hmmmm

The fact is, that he has been trying for a while to have the Mail delivered to the right places. The DOM should have sorted that out some time ago. As for the attitude of the Postman: I am frankly disgusted. :evil/mad

He lied to cover his back, ;liar and became abusive when confronted with the evidence. It's people like him, who give all of us a bad name. :d'oh! :hmmmm :arrrghhh

I know that the management treat RM like a Business, but I for one joined a Public SERVICE, not a Business. If someone has a complaint about us, then why shouldn't they be able to discuss it with us. It's better than going to management without giving us the chance to sort it out informally.

Something needs to be done about that particular Postman, before too much damage is done to the rest of us.

One of the problems about this story is that we dont know the truth of it, alls we have is a story that could have been written by someone who has a grudge against RM and posties. If i was the recipient i wouldnt put up with most of the cr*p he has allegedly put up with. And it seems very strange that he has gone to such lengths by first paying for a redi and then renewing it taping his postman and writing online about it when this kind of thing is so easy to sort out.
First a strong letter to the DOM and complaints Dept of RM with evidence and a threat to go to see his local MP if it was not sorted out and i am sure it would have been sorted, if not a visit to his MP and watch the DOM sort it out that day. But instead he seems to be prepaired to pay for the problem because the same postie will be doing his redi. Call me a cynic if you will but this story stinks of something made up!

 :hmmmm  :hmmmm  :hmmmm
that's the latest RM tactic , all these "members of the public " coming out of the woodwork in different forms , "Independent " Hellmail has been particulary guilty , there was bad feeling eminating from Senior Management before the strikes and no doubt plenty more afterwards .

I've seen it happen in previously Nationalised Industries with Thatcher & Major , these local rags will go for any little thing and make mountains out molehills .

There was the Private is good , public is bad mantra .The Dept of Transport in Marsham St used to collect stuff together for propaganda .

It's not nice to be involved in , I was working as Chargeman and complaints could get very bitchy , spiteful & vindictive , the real basis of them would be petty & churlish . I've had to go the Union"s Regional Organiser once and threaten someone with litigation as you'd underemployed managers on the lookout too.

Business people would often say "We'll sort you lot out ", well you've had a botched privatisation ,a ruined industry because the baby had to be thrown out with the bathwater.

RM is definately a throwback to that era .

I wholeheartedly agree with postings about that guy giving every decent one a bad name , you have to win the moral highground otherwise it gets difficult .
