Staff at a Royal Mail building in Plymouth were evacuated following a gas leak.
Workers at the Manual Data Entry Centre (MDEC) site on Central Park Avenue were forced to evacuate the building on Sunday evening.
A Royal Mail spokesman has confirmed there was a "small gas leak" at the building, in Pennycomequick.
"The building was evacuated," said the spokesman. "British Gas attended and made [the building] safe.
"Everyone was back in after 45 minutes."
The site, near Central Park and Plymouth Train Station, deals with manual data entry operations.
