Uniform for new starr

I am starting soon. When should i get my uniform? What should i wear for the first few weeks? Any type of shorts.

And can anyone reccomend a good pair of walking shoes?

6 weeks for uniform.

Not any kind of shorts, nothing too bright and cargo type shorts (Blue, Black Grey etc) would be ok.

You'll get a hi-vis vest to identify you as a Postie.

Shoes, anything with good tread , ankle and arch supports. Again colour should be dark - white is a definite no.
