Adam Peaty's local post office has painted its front door gold to celebrate him winning an Olympic Gold in Rio.
The East Staffordshire swimming sensation smashed his own world record in the pool to take the gold, later coming second in the medley alongside his British team mates.
Several people asked Royal Mail if it would be painting post boxes gold to mark the achievement, and when it confirmed they would not be, the post office took matters into their own hands.
Now, the Uttoxeter post office has created its own lasting tribute to Peaty's remarkable achievements.
In a statement on social media, they said: "Uttoxeter is proud and we would like to show our appreciation".
