Trying to find a job

Post by Harvey7898 »

I'm currently working in retail on a 0 hour contract because it suited my college timetable, however now that I have finished college I am looking for something that grants more hours; I love walking and there's been a consistent number of postal workers in my family. I love walking and biking however I don't have a valid drivers license and all of the current job opportunities in Manchester are for drivers.

How should I go about finding an opportunity with the postal service?

All help is welcome - thanks.

If they all require a driving licence, lie, then if you get an interview fess up.
To be fair not every job will be driving so you may get lucky when you own up.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
