Plans for a 12M DPD distribution centre in South Gloucestershire

Plans for a £12million DPD distribution centre in South Gloucestershire have been submitted. The facility, at Vertex Park near Bristol, is estimated to generate upwards of 100 new jobs.

Work on the new DC is due to start in the summer, pending planning permission, and expected to be completed in June 2017.

The property developer is Stoford.

Louise Ferguson, general manager of property at DPD, said: “Demand for our service has increased dramatically in the last five years and this investment in a modern, purpose-built distribution facility will allow us to expand our existing operation in the South West, to meet our growing business needs and create a significant number of new jobs.”
