Apart from No 1 which is a local issue Dingo has thrown scorn on most of those.
Chinese whispers, inconsistent briefings, information vacuum and no national communication, (except to reps) all seem to increase the nervousness of members. Perhaps we need an urgent communication release to the most important people, the membership, after all, we are going to be the most affected.

6 bollocks not happening at all,
7 only if your office agree to it
it's a common tactic forecast doom and gloom, lots of bad things to happen, buried in there is the real intention, my bet 6hr delivery span, so when you are all worried about everything else it doesn't seem so bad when 6 out of those 7 things don't happen just the one that they wanted in first place, usually the manager doing it not the area rep but I think you have same ara rep as Han solo who was also spouting the same rubbish so ignore it and fight any changes with the ir process

If there is no Tuesday delivery does that mean there will be a huge reduction in workforce as you will no longer need Day off Covers and a percentage of reserves ( not to mention collections and Mail Center staff)
Did I miss the announcement that the government has changed the legislation in regard to the USO requirement of 6 day deliveries ?

Was it a senior rep or the local one. It might just be that he's jumped the gun or misunderstood the brief.

You're wrong stating only if your office agrees to it in relation to 2&7 a national agreement needs to be in place we can't let them introduce one wave office by office we have got to get control of this issue.zx135 wrote:1 yes could see this happening up and down country but only if office agree to it would it happen within 12 monthseastie wrote:1/ 3 delivery offices in our area amalgamating into 1

Point number 6, would require a change in law with regard the USO.

No I'm not wrong on those, current agreements allow those, there no longer is a max delivery span that was removed, also later start times were also agreed to fit with mail arrivals,

They are linked to the 5 year plan proposed by RM which means 450 offices closing, job losses, worse conditions, health and safety problems so we have a legitimate reason for refusing to conform to those so called agreements in place the fact is they are trying to bring in the proposals without agreement.
