Hi, I received an email the other day saying my interview was a success, the email also contained a link telling me to submit an application within 24 hours or I'll be added to a waiting list. I just wanted to know what the reasoning for this was, is it to further narrow down the applicants who had successful interviews before a job is offered to somebody, or is it just to double check my information prior to security checks? The email has left me very confused and I don't know if it's likely I'll be offered a job in a few weeks or if I'll be added to a waiting list.
I've checked a few other posts and can't seem to find an answer, so any information would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Interview successful, but had to reapply?
I received the exact same email. Very confused.
Think we have a job though as mine says if you were offered a vacancy you will receive a job offer.
Still waiting for a follow up email though since Tuesday. Think the next email we receive will be a job offer after security checks as per the email

Yeah, the wording of the email is really unclear. I just don't understand what the reason for having to reapply would be, I'm assuming it's just to check if there's been any changes between the first application and now.HopefulPostie wrote:I received the exact same email. Very confused.

I guess we'll both find out over the coming weeks.

Re: Interview successful, but had to reapply?
My original application was all over the place and turned out to be different in the interview so I think that's why I've had to reapply.
If you read the email and then compare that to the step by step guide on how they work I think we're on the 'interview passed email' stage and the next email will be a job offer and a start date after checks that I presume are happening now. They said this could take 14 days

Have you heard anything else yet?
My status has changed on the new application to the same as the old one.
