Good morning,
As the title states, would a manager allow someone to leave on a year sabbatical in an office that is short staffed?. Or would they straight out refuse it?.
Also just out of curiosity, how long do we have running on our terms and conditions?. I'm pretty sure it's around the 3 year mark, because originally it was five years.
Thank you for your advice.

The agreement (AFG) is for 5 years but there is nothing stopping it being extended or indeed RM withdrawing from it if they can give a good enough reason.paulthepostie wrote:Good morning,

As to Sabbatical, it's at the discretion of the manager so you are probably best asking him direct, personally if you are already short staffed then I can't see it happening.

I thought so. I said around the 3 year mark because i think we're about two years in. So seems about right. Thanks for your reply mate
