I work in Glasgow Mail Centre and have a wee question from anybody from the above area.
In my work its still reasonably busy and have alot of stuff passing through.
I sold something on ebay and posted it during the strike
All help appriciated
You could also mention that many D/O`s have stacks of yorks containing E/Bay packets, which in all probability will take another couple of weeks to clear. Tell the other person to send an E/Mail to Big Al and Crozier. Don`t panic most people know what the score is.G.INTRA wrote:Thanks for that.. neva had any problem like this before... im panicing!
Will include that there is still a backlog in the area then when replying through paypal
cheers
ITEM STILL NOT RECIEVED.
AS ITEM WAS NOT POSTED TILL A WEEK AFTER I MADE PAYMENT IT GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE POSTAL STRIKE AND I PRESUME IS NOW LOST IN THE POST AS I HAVE RECIEVED OTHER ITEMS I HAVE BROUGHT SINCE.
OK, you could refund this persons money through Pay Pal, then put in a claim against R/Mail for a lost item? you will have got a proof of posting? get a claim form from P.O. Counters.G.INTRA wrote:this is the persons complaint!!! oopssITEM STILL NOT RECIEVED.

oopsss... guess i had other things on my mind like striking and did post it late.. i start at 5.45 its hard to remember stuff at that time in the morning but i did post it...
and in reply to all your sensible questions NO NO NO.. just handed it into the post office.. im a fool(its a learning curve for me)lol
Got the dispute for the payment. All i can do is apologise that its not been recieved by yourself but i can guarentee that it was posted by myself during the postal strike 2 weeks ago. All i can presume is that there is a large backlog, i work in royal mail and my office has alot of work waiting to get processed. I have never had a problem buying or selling on ebay and my feedback shows that, iam 100% honest. What would you like to do now?? If you have no objections i think maybe we should wait a week and if still no joy i will do a automatic refund through paypal and if you recieve the game after refund could you return it to me (of course i would send a couple of quid to pay postage)G.INTRA wrote:i wrote this in reply:
OK, not to worry. I do a fair bit of selling on Amazon. And what I have found is give the `other` person a choice ( as you have done) and in the main they are `happy` either way, if it results in a refund, that should not result in any negative comments in `your feed back markings`as you have tried to address the `problem`and in reply to all your sensible questions NO NO NO.. just handed it into the post office.. im a fool(its a learning curve for me)lol
