Contracts

Post by jackjack125 »

Quick question, the post I applied for was advertised as a permanent position, I have been offered the post but in the email it states that is is a 6 month fixed term contract. Is this normal for Royal Mail? TIA

It is normal to offer foxed term contracts. However, if you have the details of the advert and your application, then I would see your rep if your in the Union, or manager if not. AFAIK they should honour the advert, but check that out just in case I am wrong.
