It is normal to offer foxed term contracts. However, if you have the details of the advert and your application, then I would see your rep if your in the Union, or manager if not. AFAIK they should honour the advert, but check that out just in case I am wrong.jackjack125 wrote:Quick question, the post I applied for was advertised as a permanent position, I have been offered the post but in the email it states that is is a 6 month fixed term contract.
