Police have arrested a man after an incident at a Post Office in Bredgar.
An alarm at the Post Office in The Street, was activated at around 1.23am last Thursday (February 26). Police who responded to the alarm found the wall of the shop was damaged. However, at this stage, police say it is not thought that anything was stolen.
A vehicle - which police believe was used in the incident - was found burning in Ringlestone Road in Harrietsham.
A 24-year-old man from Maidstone has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been bailed until March 5 2015 pending further enquiries.
