Getting in touch yourself?

Post by daambi »

I am looking at contacting the Royal Mail to chase up the outcome of my application, I had the interview over 3 weeks ago now and my online status is still interview booked. Does anyone know if there is a contact number to chase my application up or would calling the sorting office where my interview was held and asking for the person who interviewed me be ok? I wasn't sure if they make the final decisions or if its made elsewhere. I don't want to end up in a similiar situation to others where they have found new employment and then they hear from the Royal Mail.

I was late in receiving a reply so I emailed myapplication@royalmail.com and they responded to advise that my application was still processing. Later that week I received an email to tell me I had got the job :Very Happy

My email to that address also got picked up & responded to - this month I received the 'provisional offer' HR email from myapplication@royalmail.com, I received it three & a half weeks after the interview, I had to reply to further Yes/No questions and received a subsequent response from that email address.
