Haven't been given my first shift yet but I got payslip

I got a payslip today saying arrears of casuals hol pay in employment worth 79.24 but I haven't had any holoday and haven't been given my first shift, now I'm worried they are taking this of my holoday whe I haven't even started yet which would be very unfair. I did work over christmas until the 21st December but I got paid for all that. Is anyone having simular problems?

If I understand you correct you worked up until Christmas, and not been back since? I think your contracts finished/cancelled and to settle up they've paid you the holiday pay you've accrued working Christmas.

Yeah I worked up until 19th not 21st has my contract finished earlier than it should, but I'm still waiting for first shift as a normal causal worker. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to get paid or not

Hey,
the payslip for holiday pay which you received today was for your work as a xmas casual (I received mine today as well), and you say your waiting for your first shift, i guess you mean you've been transferred to angard? I'm in the same situation, but received a text today asking me to email my availability.

yeah I've been transferred, as long as the pay is ok from the slip :) and I sent letter of 2-3 days ago saying my details and agreeing to what they say etc, so hopefully I should hear back soon :)
