Stafford's Royal Mail remembers the Post Office Rifles

A special guest at the service at the Newport Road dept was Margaret Rochelle, whose uncle Thomas Albert Rochelle worked for the Royal Mail in Stafford for 15 years before the Great War.

He subsequently joined the Post Office Rifles and fought with the regiment in the Great War. He lost his life on October 7 1916, aged 28 at The Somme.
