You have to hand it to RM.
First batch of strikes they managed to avert by getting the CWU by the goolies
Second bout of strikes, the get a high court judge to outlaw
Sombre isn't a word to use when a deal is being discussed!
Leighton/Crozier - GO TO f**k NOW - you have no interest in the good of RM. Just something to add to your books and CV's about how you "played with the CWU"

Dont get me wrong here but, how important is this deal, very or f***ing really important, lets see, they started at 14:00 and finished around 19:30, thats five and half hours, arent we on a eight hour day, and if Dave Ward and co can carry on negotiating with Royal Mail on our behalf beyond 19:30, and probably started the negotiations before 14:00, surely our executive can do the frigging same

Consultation on ending the Final Salary Scheme.
In English that means some talking shop will report back in 3 months time after Christmas that the scheme will be ended not just for new entrants but for all employees.
The locally agreed flexibility means you are only as strong as your weakest office.
Reject this insult NOW and lets get back out there on the picket line!!!

I don't think they went into the talks until at least 3pm according to the news earlier, perhaps they are giving the flexibility a go
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum
