Royal Mail delivering first class service in Fife

ROYAL MAIL have delivered a target-beating performance across Fife with 93.8 per cent of first class mail delivered on time the next day after posting.

The figure exceeds its first class target of 93 per cent and the company also beat its second class mail target of 98.5 percent, with 99 per cent of mail delivered within three working days.

The figures are for the first quarter of 2014/15, which covers the period from 31st March to 29th June 2014.

Rob Jenson, Royal Mail operations director, said, “Our people have continued to deliver across the UK to a very high standard, against one of the highest service specifications of any major European country.

"We remain the only delivery company to publish our quality of service and we are proud to do so.“

So how come our DO is like a sh*t hole everyday and some cut offs when we too busy with parcels and mail
