Shoot self in foot?

What do you think about the gap between a supposed deal and the meeting of the pec.
I really think it gives a propoganda coup to RM as there is now an 'expectation' and pressure on the pec to approve the deal.

If the pec reject the deal, if it is a bad one i hope they do, the union will have to lift its members once again for the fight.
The public will probally just say we are militant and the government will be more set in their ways.
The Pec should have been on hand or available quickly and in this day of video conferencing or web cams it could have been.

For me it is 1-0 to Rm, fingers crossed we don't end up with a draw and lose on penalties.

I agree, the PEC should have been on standby as they were on other occasions.

Should have had a emergency meeting of the PEC saturday morning and RM/CWU should have kept quiet about the negotiaters deal.
