I got wind of the Union and 'management' being close to a deal yesterday evening, soon after news of the court injunction came into the public domain. As I understand it, the pensions proposal was dropped by the business, and then, everything fell into place, but we shall see in the details.
I pray that we have not been shafted, otherwise, the deal ought not to be approved by the Postal Executive, and subsequent ballot of members,

We have been here many times before, let's not jump the gun just yet, Lets see what the National Executive make of the agreement and make our own minds up when we see it in black and white.
After all,its never been Royal Mails policy to give their staff something without them taking away something else, Particuarly now with Leighton & Crozier in charge!!!
