Three to face £40,000 Royal Mail fuel fraud charges

THREE men accused of fraudulently using Royal Mail fuel accounts to net around £40,000 will appear in crown court on 23 May.

Glenn Lewis Duckett, 23, of 39 Rhydybont in Penparcau, and twins Benjamin Robert Edwards and Paul Allen Edwards, both 23, of 112 Glanclegyr in Llanbrynmair, are facing charges of fraud by false representation between February 2012 and January 2013.

Duckett is also facing a second charge of fraud. No pleas have been entered, but magistrates have ruled that the case should go to crown court. All three men were released on unconditional bail until the hearing at Swansea Crown Court.

£40,000 is loads of fuel :shock: and Swansea Crown Court is a long way from the Aberystwyth area :shock: .
