A few new members are not sure what section of RoyalMailChat to put their new threads in. So here is a quick guide.
Check to make sure the same question has not been asked recently. We have a core of people willing to help, but if they continually answer the same questions over and over they get keyboard burn out or lose interest and stop helping. To help there is a search function on every page - its in the top right just under the Dark Blue Banner. Also use this Google Shortcut to do a site search if you prefer https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=+site ... &gws_rd=cr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A question about RoyalMailChat then ASK ADMIN/ANNOUNCEMENTS
A question about work you need advice from Union about then Union Room is the best place.
Clarification about specific agreements needed. Then THE AGENDA FOR GROWTH AGREEMENT (2014) or 2010 AND BEYOND are the better options.
Making a comical observation about work, or just wanting to discuss stuff specfic to a function then we have various sites for the different parts of Royal Mail. Delivery Blue Shirts, Mail Centres, Processing and Distrubution, ParcelForce, Post Office, Angard and Casuals Knights of the Keyboard (MDECs), All the other essential workers such as Enginers, ROMEC, Cleaners, Quadrant, CASHCO, Relay. Any stories about the good old days of even articles about them can be put in Here
Any and all Customer related Questions are best put in the Customer section even if from colleagues because they can get overlook in the other areas.
The News and Competitors News Sections are for News Articles (with links if possible) you think will be of interest to others. Please do not ask any Royal Mail worked based questions in these 2 areas, use any other relevant section.
Finally the last 2 main Sections are self explanatory so discussions regarding Pensions and Privatisation should be put forward in their specific areas.
Thanks
