Holiday

Hi everyone! I'd appreciate some feedback on the following:

I have 20+ days outstanding holiday. Those days have been rolled over since 2011. For 3 years, my manager has refused to give them to me.

If I ask for specific weeks, the answer is 'impossible, the leave group is full' - and he informs me that he gets to choose which weeks I will take, not me.
So I regularly remind him about my outstanding days. I've tried gentle, I've tried more aggressive - nothing works. The answer is more-or-less always the same - we're busy at the moment, I promise I'll give them too you soon though.
On one occasion our office was so overstaffed that 3 of us sat in all week prepping D2Ds and doing not a lot. Surely this would have been a good week to knock 5 days off my holiday? Of course not.

My union reps line on the matter is 'tough luck, but you have no say in the matter, the manager gets to choose if/when he gives them too you'.

It'll be 4 years come April. My managers clearly isn't going to give them to me. My union rep has no interest in getting them for me.

As far as I can see, I'll only see them if I hand my notice in. Is there another alternative?

the email to moya should work, but before you severely piss off dom by doing it, i would simply lodge a grievance in writing with your dom about it, and then follow that up with a stage 2 grievance with area manager if that doesnt resolve things
