documents for interview

Post by m7587 »

Hi all,

I have booked an interview for postman/woman with driving on the 8th of jan. I had no idea I was being invited for interview until i logged into the careers site and was prompted to book the interview. Apparently I should have received an email "invite to interview" but i never have! On any the previous emails I have been sent there are nl contact details at all or none on the careers site! Please could someone point me in the direction of where to contact to get the checklist or even better give me the checklist?

Thanks

The "invite to interview" might be an interview by 'phone rather than face to face.
Either way they tend to consist of several straightforward questions answers to which might suggest that you are hard working, honest, trustworthy and flexible.

Hi

I have booked the interview at my local office on jan the 8th. The e mail I received as confirmation of the booking stated it was important I bring all the required documents to the interview and to refer to the email I should have got inviting me to book an interview for the checklist of documents to bring.

Im asking if anyone has the checklist or knows a number I can contact recruitment on to request one.

Sorry if I wasnt clear in my previous message.

problem is with Angard and Royal Mail hiring for posties positions its difficult to give you definitive answers. However, if you use the RMC search facility it will bring up loads of results and its just a case of trawling through them to get the stuff you need.

The search link is on the top right of every page, usually the 2nd solid section after the Blue banner.

There are three documents attached to this e-mail.

1) Cat 14 Information check list - this details the documents you are required to produce at your interview.

Note-The assessors will be unable to photocopy your documents on the day. It is important that you take photocopies of your documents to your interview and also have the original documentation for legislation requirements. Please note, if you are using your passport as one of your documents you need to take a photocopy of the front cover as well as the personal details page.

2) Royal Mail Health Consent Form.
This must be printed, completed, and brought to your interview.

3) Health & Physical Requirements Matrix
Please ensure you read though the matrix, selecting the appropriate role you are applying for as this provides details of health related elements you may need to consider.

If you are providing your driving licence for either proof of address or for a driving role you MUST provide both the card and counterpart section and it must show your current address.

IF ANY OF THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE NOT PRODUCED AT INTERVIEW, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY. PLEASE NOTE YOUR DRIVING LICENCE MUST REFLECT YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hey,

Thanks for your help.

A couple of days ago I sent an email off to the christmas casuals email address on the off chance they would be able to help. I got a reply today from royal mail hr in sheffield, although they mistook my query and pointed to an email they had already sent me confirming my booked interview details! I have emailed back requesting the checklist etc so should have a reply by tomorrow. If not i will use the docs provided.

As far as I know its Royal mail doing the hiring for this particular role its a temp 6 month contract although im hoping it may get extended if i work hard. I will advise if the docs i get sent are the same as those posted.

Many thanks

Mike
