I have the employee declaration form which is basically the p46. I started work on Monday and I sent my declaration form Wednesday via post and my first pay day is next Friday do you think I will get a tax reduction in time for the pay day?

Unlikely but it should be adjusted as soon as they process the form and you receive the next pay packet after that.
