Hi all, I have an interview on Thursday for the position of a postman/woman with driving and I have a few questions.
It says "with driving" does this mean I will be a delivery driver only or occasionally? I was really interested in the position because of the driving aspect.
Also, what does the interview consist of? It lasts an hour and wonder what goes on to last that long lol
Thanks in advance xx

Re: Postman/woman with driving
Park and Loop, the preferred method of delivery, involves 2 posties going out in a van to deliver to an area.
So you drive, park up the van, split up while you both deliver a loop and then meet back at the van and move on to the next streets.
The drivers loop is slightly smaller as s/he has to deliver large parcels as well.
So though you will be driving, you will also be slogging it out on foot as well.
While dedicated packet/firm duties still exist they are normally snapped up by the most senior people in the office.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
