Question regarding Fri 12th October

Post by Throgg »

According to one of my reps yesterday, the union has given 7 days notice on Fri 5th Oct, that "as from 12th Oct we will be starting at the new RM times in the morning, but only working until our agreed times", effectively, striking 1 - 1.15 hours per day.

Can anyone confirm this? I can't see anything on the CWU website and i haven't noticed any comments on this forum regarding it.

That will be your local union rep and only your office. Other offices are expected to do the same. Some offices will strike only on a Saturday for 2 hours at the end of their shift. Others will be an ot ban.
These actions will be on top of the rolling strikes

Why is the union not doing it collectively?

WE ARE ONE, TOGETHER!!!

A nationwide stand like this would work wonders.

Because the union reckon that 3 days of strikes a week using 3 different parts of RM would bring RM
to the table quicker than just delivery staff striking 1-2 hours per day.
