Police have re-opened the A11 Newmarket Road in Norwich following a crash between a motorcyclist and a Royal Mail van.

The motorcyclist, who is believed to be in his 20s, is now described as being in a “very serious condition” in hospital following the accident shortly after 11am today.
The road was closed for more than four hours following the accident, which happened near Judges Walk, and re-opened at 3.05pm.
It happened at a junction between the Newmarket Road and a side road used as access for six houses.
Eric Smith, who was in his front garden when the crash happened, said a bus had stopped to allow the Royal Mail van to turn right, towards the city centre, when the accident happened.
He said: “I heard a loud bang. It sounded like a big crash and I just wandered down to see what it was. I saw the bus here and the van.
“The motorcyclist was lying down on the road. He did not move a lot, but he did move a bit.”
The road was closed at Branksome Road and Unthank Road, and police asked motorists to find alternative routes.
Police were called to the accident at 11.02am, and witnesses said three ambulances arrived.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “A motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries following a collision with a van on Newmarket Road in Norwich this morning, Monday, July 22.
“EEAST were called at 11am treating the man in his 20s before conveying him to Norfolk & Norwich where he is currently in a serious condition.”
Police said there were no reports of other injuries.
Konectbus said there were delays to the park and ride 601, delays and cancellations to park and ride 604 and delays to 6, 6A, X6 and 8’s, with buses diverted onto Ipswich Road.
