when did rm start texting that we will try to deliver a parcel to you today.Two minutes after it arrived another text confirming your parcel has been sucessfully delivered :roll:

It's the first I've heard of it.
In about 3 months, when it has become the norm, we'll all have a nice, informative WTLL session on it. :Very Happy

When you scan some Tracked items as delivered the customer receives a text message saying the item has been delivered.

I think it's an extra add-on the customer can pay for - I know last year every olympic ticket came with text messages that it was to be delivered today, then that it had been delivered seconds after I scanned it. Had people waiting at the door for some of them, bless them!

It,s definitely not an extra add on that you pay for would never do that it cost,s enough as it is. unless the company sending pays the extra charge fools if they do :Very Happy

I scanned a Tracked item as delivered about 5 mins before i got to the house as i knew they would be in or i could leave it in a safeplace,When i got to the house the chap was at the door waiting as he had a text message saying it had been delivered!

Some of the companies also do the texting,no doubt some minimum wage guy sits and monitors our T&T site and then does the txt thing.
Sky or BT used to do it with their routers.

u tool ur admitting to sending stuff you have not propery endorsed as delivered

I did scan it as delivered-just 5 minutes before i actually got to the house :shock:
