Further to LTB 827/07 (20th September 2007). We have reached a crucial stage in the dispute with POL; regrettably, a further breakdown has transpired in the negotiations in relation to our members pay in Crown Offices. Consequently, I wish to consult with our representatives to discuss our response to POL's latest offer and next steps.
It is, however, most likely that further industrial action will be necessary in order to secure a fair agreement. We have, unfortunately, been given little choice, by POL, in this matter who believe that our Postal Officers are overpaid and, as a consequence, we are faced with the prospect of a pay freeze for two years and the cessation of Saturday Premium for the majority of members. This is also coupled with an attack on pensions. Accordingly, a National Briefing has been arranged for:
11.30am - 2.30pm on Friday 12th October
At CWU Offices, 47 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3TH
The following representatives are invited to this briefing:
Territorial Counters Representatives
Counters Sections Secretaries
Branch Secretaries with members employed in POL Crown Offices
Regional Secretaries
All Branches with POL Crown Office members are urged to make every effort to attend this important meeting.

POL Crown Offices - National Briefing
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
