A 79 year old man has been killed in a car crash near Little Horwood.
On Tuesday afternoon his car collided with a Royal Mail van, on Warren Road near to Little Horwood.
The vehicles involved were a red Royal Mail Iveco delivery van and a blue Peugeot 106 car.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 79-year-old man from near Winslow was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with serious injuries. He died in hospital yesterday afternoon (Weds).
The driver of the van was treated for shock following the collision.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have seen either vehicle before the collision. Anybody with any information is urged to contact PC 4974 Mat Waters from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Milton Keynes on 101.
