Quadrant Pay Claim 2012/13 Agreement & Ballot Arrangements
Negotiations have been concluded regarding the pay agreement for 2012/13.
Despite the continuing pressure on Quadrant provision and performance as a consequence of the general economic crisis and the financial efficiencies within Royal Mail, both Quadrant management and the CWU recognise the considerable effort and contribution being made by Quadrant employees.
Your Union believes that the reward approach negotiated, when considering the current climate, is worthy of recommendation to you. As a result, the CWU has no hesitation in encouraging you to VOTE YES in favour of this agreement.
THE QUADRANT PAY & REWARD AGREEMENT 2012/13
There will be a cash lump sum to the equivalent of a 2% increase on all elements of pay backdated to the 1st October 2012 and up to April 2013.
A 2% increase on all elements of pay from the 1st April 2013.
A further pay review commitment for the 1st October 2013
A commitment to enter into further negotiations to develop a more rewarding productivity scheme based on local performance and sales, for introduction on the 1st of April 2013.
Branches are informed that the ballot arrangements for the Quadrant Pay 2012/13 Agreement have now been finalised and that the timetable will be as follows:
Ballot Papers Dispatched: 04/03/2013
Ballot Closes: 25/03/2013
Branch Secretaries are requested to ensure that our members are made aware of the content of this LTB and that every effort is made to encourage our members to use their vote.
