First they throw up on the notice board the new start times, which have still not been agreed by the union, but rather, forced through by executive action, then decide to dish out "Have your say" booklets thereafter!
You couldn't make this stuff up.
PS, i had my say alright in the comments box. I hope everyone else did..

I most certainly did! They'll need a good pair of specs because the writing is the size you used to see on those old school globes, there's so much of it. None of it complimentary and all of it true.Wild Rover wrote:First they throw up on the notice board the new start times, which have still not been agreed by the union, but rather, forced through by executive action, then decide to dish out "Have your say" booklets thereafter!

Is it my imagination or is the comments box getting smaller? I`m also gifted in the art of miniscule writing. Going for 150 words this time...IWW Fellow Worker wrote:I most certainly did! Next time, I think we should all get five or six pieces of blank A4 in an envelope saying:strangler wrote:Is it my imagination or is the comments box getting smaller? It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A few of us in our office have INSISTED in the past on taking these forms away so we can do the same as you have, TPA.The Postal Avenger wrote:I wrote my comments on a seperate piece of A4 paper and stapled it to the booklet.
I'll ask again this week if I can take my booklet home. If numpty asks why, I'll tell him I've run out of toilet paper and these sheets are the perfect size

Yes, anyone can take them home.
We've always been given the option of taking them home and using the pre-paid envelope that comes with it. But most of us fill them in on-site.
It doesn't matter anyway though, because the last lot of "have your say" results, mysteriously didn't go up on the board. I wonder why?!?!?!?
Let's face it. They only collate the multiple choice answers. The comments are highly unlikely to be seen by Lazy and Dozier, and even if they did see them. They wouldn't care what we said anyway.
