It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

:lfo :cfo and the rest of the board would love nothing more than to outsource work to India etc. or to sub it out competitors. Just how long will it be before some DO gets offered the chance to run their own office with an agreement that they can negotiate to deliver anybodies mail/parcels and d2d's.

They wont have to outsource the work to India as many imigrants are comming here desperate for work and will make ideal workforce in Royal Mails brave new world of casual felixable working. That is after all the workforce they want a workforce that they can push around and sack at their will. The Mail Centers will then be franchised out to the likes of T.N.T. so their costs are cut. Then poor sods like me will be constructivley dismissed. What we are going through now is only the start of the end of our once great Postal Service. The only thing left will be the brand ROYAL MAIL and that will be sold off to the Japs for a pound. So it is not just yourself you are striking for its your countys postal network you are protesting about. 200 post office anounce closuer today 200. Get on the picket line get the message across to the public it is not only money it is our Postal Service its about.disgruntledpostie1 wrote::lfo :cfo and the rest of the board would love nothing more than to outsource work to India etc. or to sub it out competitors.
