What to do?
I'm going to finish tomorrow as a casual on letters but im wondering what can i do to get further work in the future at royal mail. For example, do i join an agency like argard and realistically would they give me work in Jan or Feb? I usually help out in the warehouse and our manager at letters made a list of people of who he wants to stay but when i came back from finishing my tasks in the warehouse, he said he had to make quick decisions and so didn't pick me, eventhough i was one of the fastest sorters for the smaller postcodes, not at primary.

Keep an eye on the job site and apply for what you can.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
