Hi Everyone

My names Chris and have my induction in Edinburgh tomorrow. Left a great paying job in a call centre to join Royal Mail. Worked in the courier industry for 10 years previous so hopefully I'll hit the ground running. Really looking forward to getting stuck in. Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum members. :Very Happy

Curious,what kind of contract are you on,you mentioned you've left a good job to work for us...
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I have a 9 month contract, hoping that I can progress in Royal Mail. It is a risk but needed a change of career...
