Engineers Xmas present!

Post by Loyalblue »

Hi all!
A little bit of good news at our MC, our Lovely engineers, (who make sure our IMPS & LSM`S are tip - top and churning out all of TNT,UK Mail,Business Post and all the other parasites S**t mail), have been told that they do not have `Christmas pressure` so they can book leave at any time. So guess what? they have all booked leave over Xmas! leaving just 2 engineers on the floor :Very Happy :Very Happy :dance :dance :Very Happy Even at the moment they have to prioritise any call outs they get when the machines break down,(which is quite a few times each night), as there is only 3 on per shift,Imp`s take priority over lsm`s - last night we called an engineer to our LSM and he had to leave us to go fix an IMP.Can you imagine the chaos over Xmas? Sorry to repeat myself, but.... :dance :dance :Very Happy. Hope other MC`s engineers have a very merry Christmas.
Anyone know about their MC`s? :funneh. Have RM got plans to train-up any casuals to plug the gap?
By the way glad to hear that UNITE might be balloting on IA, FINALLY it might sink in that they were next in line anyway!

"He`s not heavy, he`s my brother"-But I`m still not carrying my f*****g line manager! (you seen the size of him!)

Not heard that here, but i will have a word with the lads in the engineers tomorrow mornng when I get in.....I can imagine our place over pressure with just a couple of engineers and if the MCM gets his way no TPM done on the machines again, cooo that'll be a lovely sight again to see the delay lines snap and the managers running around screaming that they can't afford to have a machine out for 4 hours whilst they wait for the courier to bring the new belt and then have it fitted....Ah bliss.
