Retired people should be encouraged to do community work such as caring for the "very old" or face losing some of their pension, a peer has suggested...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

And this comes from a man who retired on a full (gold plated) pension at 54 :hmmmm

He's actually a crossbencher and close friend of David Blunkett DGP. :shock:
I don't actually think he's politically motivated either way,just a man in the comfortable position to be able to squeeze the poor a little more.
His pension is estimated at £120,000 a year...obviously paid for by you and i since he's an ex-civil servant.
Do you remember Yes Minister.
