Re: payroll outsourced
Shame they no longer tell us what our holiday entitlement is now (holiday hours accrued and holiday pay rate).
Also, a shame they are still paying us incorrectly if you work different shifts (different pay rates) in a week and not averagng the pay rate to 4 decimal places that are now available on the payslips. This would effectively correct the inherent error of working to 2 decimal places on our pay slips.

Re: payroll outsourced
The Royal Mail we are led to believe is a progressive, modern company. Angard makes the Royal Mail look incredibly stupid and uncaring about people brought in who simply want to earn a few quid by doing the tasks allocated to them, wheather, they be good, bad or indifferent jobs around the office. It is a job which is more favourable than no job.
I started as a temporary worker, more years ago than I care to remember. It was far better than what you people have to put up with now. The whole concept of Angard is cost effective which is the reason we see so many problems arising in terms of pay and conditions. Outsourcing the payroll is obviously cheaper than doing it in-house, but it has the makings of yet another calamity waiting to happen at Christmas time, especially when there are more employees to deal with. Unfortunately, the Royal Mail get away with murder time after time and that is so wrong. I want to see the Royal Mail a strong, ultra successful company and overall, a great place to be. The sad reality is, the Royal Mail is going nowhere fast because it lacks dignity, respect and a sense of responsibility for people. I believe people do matter. The Royal Mail needs to learn that and learn it quickly!!!

Re: payroll outsourced
Hi there, I am also unhappy that angard have outsourced their payslip and we don't know how much holiday hours we have.
However, if you email angard.holiday@reedglobal.com and ask them how many holiday hours you have, they will reply and tell you how many holiday hours you have and at what rate it will be paid.
hope this helps

Re: payroll outsourced
Firstly, they have never answered any of my e-mails to either payroll or the holiday addresses. Apart from standard reply stating they have received my e-mails.jasimy wrote:Hi there, I am also unhappy that angard have outsourced their payslip and we don't know how much holiday hours we have.

They will get a little upset if we all ask for our holiday hours and hourly rate once a week so we can keep an eye on what they are doing.
Basically with all the problems they have had I do not trust them to get this right too.

Re: payroll outsourced
I thought sending an email to the holiday address might be futile
. They told me how much paid leave I was due over the phone, as the wage slips are no longer any help. Is sending in the holiday forms by post a better idea?
