I'm currently working in Scotland and have just ordered a new fleece and it arrived this morning and the accompanying paperwork stated "Fleece - Scottish".
I'm transferring to an office south of the border next month - is the uniform different for England?

The crown is different on the badge.
That's why it says fleece-Scottish.

Re: Quick Uniform Question
It's the 'go faster' decals which really distinguish us, Scotland obviously need more help in that area!

What I've noticed though is new vans with the Scottish crown and omitting 'ER' recently designated to English offices over 100 miles south of the border.

Re: Quick Uniform Question
We had one of our Combo vans reversed into by a customer in a big Citroen Relay and bashed in the drivers door so badly it would only open partway and drop down on the top hinge. Took it to the local bodyshop (3 months later) to be "repaired". Now, I would have thought that seeing as the postie who was driving it, was at the time of the accident, at the back doors getting a parcel out - would not be considered at fault and the repair would be on the other persons insurance.
I went to pick the van up and it had a plain red door on that didn't fit properly, when I queried it the guy at the bodyshop said "Well it's a 2nd hand door isn't it, what do you expect?"
I replied "Well it shouldn't be, as it was the other persons fault" at which point I was told that they had been contacted by RM and told to use a 2nd hand door which they sent to them from another depot.....?!?!?!?

Re: Quick Uniform Question
The Scottish Crown is different on Royal Mail vans but given that the Royal Mail fleece only features the Royal Mail logo this is the same Nationwide right? So what is actually different on the Scottish fleece?
