Royal Mail trial praise

EAST YORKS: Royal Mail is extending trials of a delivery scheme, which means items can be delivered to a neigh- bouring address when no one is at home.

It follows the successful launch in Hull and villages in Holderness in November last year.

The trial is part of a process of bringing Royal Mail's terms and conditions more in line with other delivery companies.

Nick Landon, Royal Mail's managing director of fulfilment and packet strategy, said: "The initial results have been very positive and shows that our customers value this service and wel- come the initiative."
