I've had enough

It's my fifth week working for Angard. It's Friday morning and I should be leaving for work now. Just checked my account and they have paid me 1p. I've worked all week in storms for that!
I thought the 1p was paid when they were trying to get the £350 voucher money back, but I never received a voucher. In total they have paid me £290.01 for five weeks work.
So I'm not going to work today. I've been pretty patient so far, but this is the final straw. How can I work when I don't know if I am going to get paid?

I really don't blame you! I think you should be proud that you stuck at it for 5 weeks, I gave up after 3weeks because I felt like they were treating me like a mug.. and I'm still waiting for my pay.

Phoned my manager to tell him that I'm not going in today after being paid 1p. His response? "I don't blame you". Still wants me in Monday and said he will try and sort something out if Angard still haven't paid.

No Idea why you don't file an ET1? You don't have to have left RM/Angard to file it.

In regards to the ETI, they have offered me 2 months work so will it affect that in terms them telling me not to come in anymore. In additiin has anyone received a tax rebate, 1 am
a student, so will ETI deal with getting that back.

RM can be vindictive so I personally would only file the ET1 if I no longer wanted any long term work from them.

No your over paid tax would be sorted by the tax man.

with regards to tax simply phone the tax office as soon as you have recieved everything your owed and they will sort the tax for you - no point in doing it when they still owe you as you will have to do it over again :)

My manager just phoned me. He has spoken to Angard and told them how unhappy he is with the situation

. They promised that someone will phone me today.

Then he asked if I can work tomorrow to cover sick leave

Waiting for the phone call now

You might have a good manager but you no how it works now. Your manager will only really worry about covering work. Harsh but true.
