chritmas days off
help needed can anyone tell me my entitlement ie days in lieu excess for nightshift five day week,i am a tuesday to saturday night shift, with my night starting on the monday at 222o, we have been told to return on tues27th dec, would appreciate any advice cheers puff

I do Mon-Fri night shift..
We've been TOLD we are doing Tue, Wed and Thur night next week.
Oh and a 6am finish this Saturday!

As far as I can tell (from looking at my up to date leave card) You will NOT receive a bank holiday credit for the Monday night into Tuesday morning shift.
You won't get one for Christmas day as it falls on a Sunday, you will get a B/H credit for the Sunday into Monday as that is classed as one of your rest days.
Basically, if your rest day is either Monday or Tuesday (when the bulk of your shift takes place) you will get a day in lieu.

I'm in the same boat !
I'm back in on tuesday night and will work 4 nights as opposed to some of my colleagues who will work 2,
and i'm only entitled to 1 day in lieu ?
and does this have to be put in by my manager or does it get added automatically as i don't trust her to do it !

surely you should receive day in lieu for your rest day sun/mon AND excess for working tues/wed any other help please
