It seem to me that angard are winning this crisis caused by themselfs.
1. No one has walked out due to short pay. = we accept the situation.
2. Very soon the mail will start to slow down = we wont be needed anyway.
3. Not one person from royal mail has helped the casual worker = they dont give a s**t.
4. even if there "is" a walkout from any mail centre = mail would be diverted to the ones that havent walked.
5. Royal Mail / Angard are winning = the mail is still going out fast as expected.
Lets face it, they "Will" win, i think now it's to late to have a mass walkout at every centre/outhouse, It just could'nt be arranged in time to hurt the bastard's who are hurting us.
On Monday and Tuesday, the eurocentral outhouse was so busy you could harldy move a york arround (thats the truth). when i went in for my shift the next day the mail has always been cleared, All done by casuals with the same pay issues,One girl hasnt been paid anything at all for 3 weeks, and geeze she still works hard.
This is all down to one thing, " FEAR " And its understandable, No one wants to be loseing there job, But thats the fact.
So next Xmas intake, be prepared for this scenario to be repeated with the same staffing agency while the scum directors at royal mail sit back with the big fat pay cheques and the casual scrape the bottom of the barrel for a pittence of a wage just to try give there familys a half decent Xmas.
I give up angard,, you win,, i will work my time alocated and then sit and twiddle my fingers in the hope that you will actualy feel some form of guilt and f***ing pay me what im owed.

At your place but Postman has set up a forum for people to vent their feelings that should deserve some respect.john0745 wrote: 3. Not one person from royal mail has helped the casual worker = they dont give a s**t.
Also other posters have reported local Royal Mail Managers have helped them as well. Just wanted to clarify that. The rest of your colourful rant though is fully understandable and of which I have sympathy for.

Re: 9 days left = angard win
Hi
I agree with what John0745 says, Angard and RM will win at the end of the day, they were always going to in reality.
But we all should remember that this is not the first week that Angard have had "problems".
I actually quit on 18th November as I along with every other member of my shift (100%) had been paid wrong.
RM manager gave us an explanation as to what we had been paid, next day looking at our payslips, either he'd been talking to Enid Blyton or He'd made it all up on the spot as the payslip said something completely different.
The whole shift(s) were also being ripped off by 5 minutes each day in respect of breaks, we took 40 mins and angard deducted 45 minutes.
Doing this for everybody on the 3 shifts was clearly well worth someones efforts.
When I challenged a RM manager about this, asking that we all be paid what we had actually worked, he referred the "problem" to his Senior Manger for a decision.
Guess what the decision was, and remember this was RM not Angard, very bluntly "NO".
Bottom line is Angard and RM have been acting in an illegal manner for over 6 weeks now by "Illegally With Holding Wages", it's not as if this week is the first time they have done it.
I think the only difference this week is that the press etc have finally taken an interest, but basic question is why didn't RM do something 6 weeks ago.
I like others in the last few days emailed RM Chief Exec, and I got a reply saing "HR colleagues will investigate get back to you", but in my case this was 6 weeks ago.
Guess what I'm still waiting for them to get back to me.
Whilst I am more than pleased that they have finally begun to react, they truly could have done this much earlier.
They are only doing it now in light of the press interest and trying to limit the "bad publicity".
Don't forget Angard and RM have been breaking the law for weeks with little or no concern for the impact of their actions on thousands of casuals.
I for one will still be a thorn in their side for a very long time until I get complete 100% satisfaction and , I can still dream, an apology.
To those still wiating for payment, keep chasing, good luck, don't let Angard and RM fob you off.

You haven't and my apologies if you thought I was suggesting that. I just wanted to give Postman a quick acknowledgement of how he has helped people organise during the Angard fiasco.john0745 wrote:TrueBlueTerrier... Rgds My colourful rant.
