Welp, this has confused me greatly. After reading around on here about similar situations to my own, I decided to turn up on my provisional start date (Dec 5th) as the sorting office isn't far at all and that way I'd finally get an answer about whether or not I'm starting.
Strangely enough, my ID was there and I was called up and asked to sign in. Although my ID was there, my name and a few others were missing, so they asked us to just sign ourselves in at the bottom of the page. My name is now on the form (added by the shift manager I suppose) and have worked 2 night shifts like I had signed up for.
Today, roughly 4pm, text and email congratulating me and saying I start tomorrow. At 6:00 - 14:00. A time I didn't sign up for. Any one have any clue what to do? I'm going to try my best to get an answer out of my shift manager but he seems to be very evasive..
