Hi guys, i just want to clear up some things like break allowences etc, if i do a 22.30 to - 6.30 mon-fri (@£6.58 p/h), for an 8 hour shift how much time for breaks should i expect. First day we got a 30 min break then a 15min one later, the day after we got told that the guys that told us to go on the second 15min break were told off because they told us to go on that 2nd break so today we go only a 30 min break for 8 hrs work, when i asked is this right i was told this is what angard had agreed.
so:
- is 30 mins for 8 hrs work legally correct, also what are they legal times etc.
- on another note the xmas lines cost shed loads to ring and no one ever picks up even the option about pay, ive have literally tired all hours for the day.

This is from the government's HSE website, dunno what Anguard's guidelines are:
A worker is entitled to an uninterrupted break of 20 minutes when daily working time is more than six hours. It should be a break in working time and should not be taken either at the start, or at the end, of a working day.
