Post by indiepalacefan »

Hi i recived my first pay cheque on friday and hound that the number of hours i have been put down for are completely wrong i have taken it upon myself to write down the hours that i no i have worked should i take this information into work with me tomorrow and who do i discuss it with ? and another thing that i noticed is that the tax code they have used is completely wrong i sent them a copy of my p45 to the adress in northampton as they told me to do. They seen to have completely ignored this :( and i dont no what to do next. Also how do i go about claiming this tax back ? tbh the whole tax system confuses me :/ so if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated this is also have a strong impact on me as im feeling emotionally down cos of them messing about and not answering my questions.

Hi

See my post in "emergency tax or as its better known tax code 0T", this will hopefully explain things for you.

Key point is contact Angard payroll and insist they put things right, they are very slow in processing P46 forms even when they have received them, in the meantime you lose !

On my shift we all submitted forms P46 and 1st week wages everybody was taxed on 0T, which was wrong.

Suggest contact by email rather than phone, email address can be found on Angard Web site.

If you do get through by phone always ask for the name of who you speak to.

Don't let them fob you off, make sure you get a commitment as to when they will operate correct tax code for you, keep pushing until you get a satisfactory answer.

good luck
