A man was shot in the leg during an armed robbery at a post office in Lancashire.
Police said up to four men raided the post office on Hall Green, Up Holland, at about 17:30 GMT on Friday.
The man and a a female member of staff, who suffered head injuries, were taken to hospital.
The gang stole a small amount of cash before running off towards Tower Hill. Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
