Hi, 2 weeks ago i put in an official transfer request to Sheffield HR to see if i can move from RM Letters to Parcelforce.
I have had no response or acknowledgement of my request as yet.
Does anyone have any experience of transfer request situations and how long they should take, or what i should do next, should i chase them up or just wait a bit longer, thanks.

Rule of thumb is HR are useless at this transfer business.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Parcelforce Transfer Request question.
Parcel force is seperate from the letters now, I wanted to do this two years ago but was told I would have to apply to parcel force directly and couldn't transfer because of this.
