LOCAL postman Eddie Drury and his son Jonathan, a pupil at Craigavon Senior High School, successfully completed the recent 10k run in Lisburn to raise money for the Southern Area Hospice in Newry.
Both are involved with First Portadown Boys Brigade and they completed the run in memory of former member of the church, Mollie Porter, who spent her final days in the hospice.
Eddie is also a director and long-time supporter of Glenavon FC.
Their sponsorship is nearing the £2,000 mark and they are keen to push the total beyond that level.
Anyone who would like to make a donation can do so by contacting Eddie on 07866 273 306 as soon as possible.
